Lee Chayan from South Korea is a Ph.D candidate majoring in design at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. This is her first year of study in China. During the holiday in Korea, she learned that the COVID-19 broke out in China. She was very concerned about the situation of JCI and volunteered to buy 900 KF94 masks and sent them to JCI.
When she heard that the hospitals in Jingdezhen city were also short of protective equipment, she went around again. Several days later, she helped the Overseas Chinese Association of Jingdezhen purchase 12,000 surgical protective masks and successfully sent them to Jingdezhen in batches. "In Jingdezhen, I have my closest teachers and friends, and it's not inappropriate to call it my second home," she said. "It's a pity that we can't face this difficult time together, but I will do my best in Korea."
