On October 19th, "China Sports Lottery Cup"the first Jingdezhen International Ceramic Kiln Worker Fitness Competition2020 was held in Jinkeng Village, Xianghu Town, Fuliang County. More than 300 people from 33 teams participated in the competition. The teams are from Jingdezhen government agencies, ceramic enterprises,drifters in Jingdezhen, sports clubs, some universities, overseas students and international friends of JCU.
The event is listed as one of the major activities of Jingdezhen International Ceramic Fair this year, with "advocating the national fitness, ceramic culture, vigorously carrying forward the craftsman spirit, building a new platform for cultural exchanges with other countries" asitstheme. The 72 procedures of ceramic production process were designed as sports activitiesorcompetitions. So when taking part in these activitiesor competitions, people can enhance their physical fitness and experiencing ceramic skills and inheriting ceramic culture as well.Chen Lihe,Director ofthe Department ofPhysical Education and Military Education, JCU, serves as the technical guide and chief referee, and the students majoring in physical education ofJCUserve as the referees.JCUwas awarded the "Best Contribution Award" inthecompetition.
