2021 KSBDA-JCI International Art Special Exhibition was held

On the morning of January 11th, the 2021 KSBDA-JCI International Art Special Exhibition, sponsored by Jingdezhen Ceramic University and KSBDA, organized by School of Ceramics and Fine Arts, School of Design and Art, and College of Technology and Art, was heldonXianghu Campus of JCU. Mei Shican, Party Secretary of JCU, attended anddeclaredthe ceremonyopen. Lv Jinquan, member of the Party Committee andVicePresident of the University, Yang Zhimin, member of the Party Committee andHead of the Organization Department attended the opening ceremony.

In his speech, Mr. LvJinquanpointed out that the exhibition jointlysponsored by JCU andKSBDA is not only a vivid interpretation of art without borders, but also a show of the achievements of JCU's foreign academic exchanges over the years. In recent years, more and more students of JCU have entered the world through the exchange activities and have attracted the attention of the international community and gained more and more international praise, which is a good manifestation of "JCU Phenomenon". Looking forward to the future, promoting the developmentof JCU and cultural exchanges are also inseparable from the strong support of culture and art. Mr. Lv expressed his hope to take the special exhibition of Sino-Korean international art as a new starting point to further strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, inherit and carry forward the ceramic art and culture.

Kim Ji-hyun, president of KSBDA, commissioned a teacherfromSchool of Ceramics and Fine Arts, JCU to readhisspeech letter.He reckoned that basic modelling is the essence and principle of integral modelling art, eachagehas different requirements and viewpoints for modelling. Through the activities based on diversity, openness and flexibility,KSBDA hopes to communicate with the international community and explore new educational methodologies.

Zhao Lantao, curator andateacher ofSchool of Ceramics andFine Arts, introduced the preparation of theexhibition.

It is reported that the exhibition is in the form of offline works photo exhibition, thecountries taking part in theexhibition mainly includeChina, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Ecuador and Canadaetc.The exhibition will last six days, until January 16, 2021.
