On the morning of September 11, a delegation from Kazakhstani universities, including Academy of Logistics and Transport, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Satbayev University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, and Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade, visited our university. Mr. Yang Zhimin, university official in charge of international exchange, hosted the delegation and delivered a welcome speech during a symposium chaired by Ms. Zhang Jingjing, Dean of the International School at JCU. Representatives from the School of Information Engineering, the School of Management and Economics, the International School, and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange also attended the meeting.
At the symposium, Yang introduced JCU’s academic strengths and underscored the importance the university places on educational exchanges and collaborations with Kazakhstani institutions. He expressed hope that the visit would foster a partnership among participating universities to explore new models and pathways for Sino-Kazakh educational collaboration. He also called for joint efforts to create exemplary and impactful education cooperation projects to support the “Belt and Road” initiative with strong talent and intellectual contributions.
Representatives from the Kazakhstani delegation presented their respective universities’ unique features, academic research, and international engagement. They expressed optimism about the immense potential of Sino-Kazakh education collaboration and a desire to work with Jingdezhen Ceramic University in areas such as student and faculty exchanges, academic research, cultural interactions, and projects like the Tang Ying Ceramic Workshop, jointly contributing to the Belt and Road Initiative.

During their visit, the delegation toured the International Ceramic Art Studio, JCU Museum, and Institute of Ancient Ceramic. They admired ceramic works created by students from around the globe, each piece showcasing the boundless charm of ceramic art and the fusion of diverse cultures. The delegation was deeply impressed by the university’s profound cultural heritage, outstanding educational achievements, and success in international exchange.
