The Ministry of Education Awarded JCI National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Typical Experience Colleges and Universities 2018
From November 6th to 9th, the Ministry of Education held the 2018 College Graduate Employment & Entrepreneurship Seminar and the 2018 National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Typical Experience Exchange in Hangzhou. Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education, Vice Minister Lin Huiqing, etc. attended the meeting and awarded licenses to 50 "National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Typical Experience Colleges and Universities 2018" such as JCI. Feng Hao, a member of the Party Committee of JCI and vice-principal, attended the meeting and received honorary recognition on behalf of JCI.
In her speech, Lin pointed out that each of “National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Typical Experience Colleges and Universities 2018” selected by the Ministry of Education has effective and unique measures in promoting students to play their respective advantages in the work of innovation and entrepreneurship. All these colleges and universities have the courage to explore and strive for the firsts. She urged that those recognized colleges and universities, in the following work : first, with the spirit of the National Education Congress, should improve the standing position to guide the new era of college graduates employment and entrepreneurship work. Second, consolidate the achievements and scientifically judge the employment and entrepreneurship situation of college graduates. Third, achieve a more sound employment guidance service system, resort to "Internet and employment" model more widely, supply more accurate employment services, enhance the employment force gradually, and improve employment guidance capacity steadily. Fourth, innovation and entrepreneurship work has achieved remarkable results, colleges and universities shall take innovation and entrepreneurship education into the whole process of talents training, therefore to ensure that innovation and entrepreneurship can deepen the education reform.
It is reported that this year, China selected a total of 50 colleges and universities with typical experience of innovation and entrepreneurship, of which 9 are universities, 33 province-owned undergraduate colleges and universities, 8 higher vocational colleges.
